The Ally 18 combines particularly high payload capacity with good tipping stability.

Ally canoes have a distinct keel jump and curved, high stems. They offer good tipping stability, allow a high payload and are suitable for both excursions and expeditions. They maneuver well in rivers and through rapids, but are equally well suited for touring in calm waters.

This rugged canoe has the same transverse frame profile as the 15′ DR and 16.5′ DR models. At a whopping 5.5 m in length, it has a long and wide bottom that transitions into the “tumblehome” shape (pear shape). This results in its exceptional stability, high payload and plenty of space in the bow. It is suitable for 3-4 people with luggage. The Ally 18′ DR is a touring canoe for calm waters. However, the design also allows it to be used on rivers with higher waves and minor technical difficulties.
